Joint project
sammlungen.li

sammlungen.li is an association of 16 independent, state, municipal and private Liechtenstein art and cultural heritage collections, see participating institutions.
On the initiative of the Cultural Foundation Liechtenstein, the digital collection archives of the participating institutions were transferred to the shared online inventory platform MuseumPlus from the company Zetcom in 2018. The platform now enables all participants to work with their own collections independently of location and device. The holdings of the other collections can be viewed digitally by the authorized users, sensitive data is hidden. All institutions benefit from the exchange of knowledge within the network through an annual user meeting and day-to-day exchanges. Improvements to the software are discussed jointly and the platform is continuously optimized. Coordination within the network is carried out by the Liechtenstein Cultural Foundation.
In 2023, the Network will make its first public appearance and organize the "Experience cultural heritage" campaign days. With a traveling exhibition, a panel discussion, and two open Saturdays in the collection institutions, the diversity and challenges of Liechtenstein collections will be shown to the population. "Experience cultural heritage" is supported by the Office of Culture and the Liechtenstein Cultural Foundation to raise awareness of cultural property preservation.
In a further step, parts of the collections will be viewable online at sammlungen.li. The collection of the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein is already online (www.kunstmuseum.li/sammlung).
